The Leadership Development Institute (LDI) at Eckerd College is closely monitoring the impact of coronavirus and prioritizing our staff and clients’ safety.
LDI is following the advice of Eckerd College’s Emergency Management Executive Team (EMET), which continues to meet and monitor the current situation.
Currently, Eckerd College is closed to visitors, all students are off-campus, and as local and state governments issue stricter limits on the population at large, President Eastman announced this morning that we have made the immensely difficult decision to close residence halls for the remainder of the Spring Semester and finish all undergraduate courses remotely.
At this time, we believe it is prudent to postpone all of our in-person leadership development and certification programs through April both on campus and throughout the country. We will coordinate individually with anyone who may be affected by a program cancellation.
We see coaching as an especially important service to support our clients through this difficult time. People need a place to connect and to process all that they are facing. There is no better place for this than with a coach. If this would be of interest to you or your organization, please contact us.
We continue to assist our MTI, CDP and EMP practitioners who count on us to support them in the delivery of their own programs and services. We are continuing to offer CDP certifications and EMP certifications online via Zoom.
We are in the final stages of developing online delivery of LDI’s leadership development curriculum, the Center for Creative Leadership’s curriculum and the Mediation Training Institute’s curriculum.
