Transfer and Substitution Policy

Before an open-enrollment program begins, the Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College incurs substantial material and administrative costs related to your registration. Therefore, the following fees apply:

Transfers: Transfer requests must indicate the new date and/or new program the participant wishes to attend. Tuition will become 100% non-refundable if a participant transfers more than 2 times or does not attend another program within 6 months of the original program start date.

Refunds: Any remaining balance of a cancelled program’s payment can be applied to another LDI program within 6 months of the original program date. After 6 months, the balance is non-refundable.

Any remaining balance of a cancelled program’s payment can be applied to another LDI program within 6 months of the original program date. After 6 months, the balance is non-refundable.

Please note that by registering for a program offered by the Leadership Development Institute, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Refund, Transfer and Substitution Policies.

SHRM Program

Transfer and Substitution Policy

Before a SHRM program begins, the Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College incurs substantial material and administrative costs related to your registration. Therefore, the following fees apply:

Transfers occurring less than 15 business days before the program start date 50% of program fee minus cost of materials* No
* SHRM’s Learning System materials must be returned unopened, otherwise the cost of materials provided will be deducted from the refund.

Transfer requests must indicate the new date and/or new program the participant wishes to attend. 100% of the full program fee is non-refundable if:

  • The participant does not attend another program within one year of the original program start date.
  • The participant transfers more than two (2) times;
  • Any remaining balance of a cancelled program’s payment can be applied to another LDI program within one year of the original program date. After one year, the balance is non-refundable. Please refer to Refund Policy.
