Senior Faculty and Executive Coach

Lawrence W. Hamilton is a board certified (BCC) executive coach and has been a senior faculty member with the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) since 2008 after a distinguished career as a Human Resources executive. Lawrence’s corporate career included managerial stints at at Monsanto and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Most recently, Lawrence was a corporate officer and member of the Executive Committee at Tech Data Corporation, a $20+ billion worldwide technology distributor. Lawrence joined Tech Data in 1993 and was named Worldwide Senior Vice President of Human Resources (CHRO) in 1996. He departed Tech Data in 2006 to pursue his board membership and HR consulting interests and has been affiliated with LDI since that time. He presently serves on the boards of both privately and publicly held companies.

Lawrence holds a BA from Fisk University , a MPA from the University of Alabama and an Ed.S. from The George Washington University.
